CarMetric is offered as a Public Beta. Features may change, be added, or be removed at short notice. We aim to keep the service stable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability during Beta.

CarMetric helps prospective UK car buyers by generating AI-assisted ownership risk summaries and cost-of-ownership estimates based on details you provide. Reports are intended as a decision-support tool — they do not replace a professional mechanical inspection, an independent history check, or professional financial advice.

Prices are shown in GBP and include any applicable taxes where required. We may adjust prices in future and will give reasonable notice of changes to active subscribers.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are handled solely by Stripe — CarMetric never sees or stores your full card number.

Your report is generated and delivered instantly on payment. By checking out you consent to immediate delivery, and your 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 ends once the report is generated. If a report fails to generate or isn't delivered due to our fault, email support@carmetric.co.uk within 14 days for a full refund.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity carried out under your account. Use a strong password (minimum 12 characters) and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree not to:

• use the service to harass sellers, buyers or third parties;
• scrape, resell or redistribute reports or other content;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt or bypass security controls;
• upload unlawful content or use the service for unlawful purposes.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these rules.

We may update, improve or change features of CarMetric at any time. Where a change materially affects paid plans, we will give reasonable notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CarMetric is provided "as is" and "as available". We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from a vehicle you did or did not buy based on a report. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (for example, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).

You can stop using CarMetric at any time and request account deletion by emailing support. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, unless local consumer law gives you additional rights.
